OpenLM positions itself as “software licensing intelligence for engineering and specialty applications,” naming Autodesk, Bentley, Sentinel, Siemens, Dassault Systèmes, Altair, IBM, Hexagon, and Ansys among the vendors it covers, and states support for more than 100 license managers and 25,000-plus engineering applications on its own site.

Every industry runs a different engineering estate
